HISTORY OF BABY SIT-TIGHT!!

They say that “necessity is the mother of invention.” I have to say this was the case for this Grandmother. I was babysitting my seven-month old Grandson overnight.  The next morning a group of my girlfriends wanted me to go with them to a breakfast club that had music and lots of people. I knew I would have to bring little Noah with me. Well, he was quite heavy and the weight of an infant seat/car seat made it difficult for me to carry. Also, I did not know what kind of high chairs this place had and Noah did not sit well in the high chairs in restaurants.

Remembering when my children were young, I would tie them in their chair with a cup towel from the kitchen. I decided to make something to hold him in the chair as I could not carry him and the infant seat. So, I bought fabric, webbing and buckles and from this crude design, Baby Sit-Tight evolved.

It has been so handy for Noah’s parents to use when they go out to eat with him. It also has solved my high chair problem when they come to visit. My old high chair strap is broken and not safe because there is not a safety strap. His other grandparents love Baby Sit-Tight because they did not have a high chair and could use a dining room chair.

I wanted a product that was washable, functional, fits in your purse or diaper bag, and is affordable.
